energy is an autonomous institute under the ministry of new and renewable energy
(MNRE). The NISE is dedicated to research and development, solar component
testing and certification, capacity building and development of solar products
and applications

program in NISE
The NISE offers Internship / research / dissertation program to provide opportunities for students and graduates for training and experience in the solar energy field.
Who can apply in NISE?
Ongoing graduate completing their
sixth semester / 3rd year and post graduate students completing
second semester / first year
Minimum residency period for graduate
students is two weeks
Minimum residency period for post
graduate students is six weeks
Completed graduation and post-graduation
When apply in NISE?
Throughout the year

Students must apply by sending filled
form to internship@nise.res.in
The application form is attached with
annexure 1
Documents
One page statement of purpose,
highlighting connection to solar energy and applicant goal for internship
CV: Educational background, skills and
relevant experience, mark sheets, degree certificates, proof of academic qualifications
Annexure 2: Request letter from the
institute, on the institute letterhead

Accommodation for NISE internship
On sharing basis, preference given to female students based on availability. However, students are responsible for managing boarding, loading and transportation for the entire duration of the program.
