Ultra Mega Power Plant ( UMPP )
- The Ministry of Power, Government of India launched the initiative of Ultra Mega Power Plant ( UMPP ) 4000 MW super thermal power project in Novermber 2005, in order to objective to develop large capacity power projects in INDIA.
- The power finance corporation is nodal agency to facilitate the development of these projects.
